Our Story

Built by travel people,
for travel people.

We spent years working in travel agencies and watching teams struggle with WhatsApp chaos, Excel quote sheets, and CRMs built for salespeople — not travel consultants. So we built what we wished existed.

The problem we set out to solve

In 2019, our co-founder Rahul Mehta was running a mid-size travel agency in Mumbai. Every morning started the same way: 40 WhatsApp messages, a spreadsheet with 200 open enquiries, and three agents asking each other "whose quote is this?".

He tried every CRM on the market. Salesforce was built for enterprise software sales. HubSpot was great for marketing teams. Zoho was too generic. None of them understood a package tour, a multi-pax booking, or what it meant to manage a destination wedding for 60 guests across 6 suppliers.

So in 2020, he partnered with a product team and spent six months embedded in travel agencies across India — observing, mapping workflows, and building the first version of Travnet from the ground up.

Today, Travnet is used by over 1,200 agencies across India, the UK, UAE, and Southeast Asia. We're still building the same way we started: by listening to travel professionals and shipping features they actually need.

Our timeline

2019 — The idea

Rahul spends a year observing agency workflows and discovers no CRM fits travel operations.

2020 — First build

Core team of 4 builds v0.1 of Travnet. 12 agencies join as beta testers.

2021 — Public launch

100 agencies in 3 months. WhatsApp integration ships. Team grows to 18.

2023 — Global expansion

UK and UAE launches. 500+ agencies. Series A funding secured.

2025 — Today

1,200+ agencies across 8 countries. 4.2M enquiries processed. Still building.

What we believe

The values that shape every product decision we make.

Deep domain, not shallow features

We don't build features for demo videos. Every module is designed around how travel agencies actually work — not how a generic SaaS company thinks they work.

Our customers are our product team

Every feature request is triaged by our team, and our top agencies have a direct line to product. We ship what we hear from the field — not what looks good on a roadmap slide.

Security is not optional

Travel agencies hold sensitive PII — passport details, payment data, family travel plans. We treat security with the same seriousness as a bank, not as an afterthought.

Fair pricing, always

We don't lock features behind enterprise walls just because we can. Starter plan customers get a genuinely useful product, not a crippled demo to upsell from.
